A 16-years old female student is dead and six are injured.
The TV are speaking of a mafia bombing, and a demonstration against organized crime was supposed to take place today in the city. Moreover, this happens few days before the 20th anniversary of the death of the anti-mafia judge Falcone in Palermo, killed by a bomb with his wife and three policemen escorting him. The school bombed today was named after judge Falcone's wife.

Totally dispicable, to target - specifically - children, is the most disgusting, inhuman thing anybody can do, and all for what? Money? Philosophy? A way of life? It does not justify an act of aggression against children who have done nothing wrong.

Right.
There is no confirmation yet, but this could be a revenge or signal of the local mafia, as some days ago there has been a huge police operation in the same area, especially in the town from which the bus carriyng the girl who died and the one most seriously wounded came from.
Definitely, those who activated the bomb didn't think twice, they wanted to hurt, and they knew that the students used to gather in front of the school's gate.
Mafia relies on a wall of silence built with bricks of fear. Whenever something happens, nobody ever sees anything. I hope this cruelty will be a reason to make this all fall down.
