KADS: Cavanaugh/CAF interest?

As a bit of a break from my JASDF series, I'm doing an extensive rework of KADS. I know, there's a FS9 KADS out there, but it bugs me because it looks pretty much nothing like KADS.
Anywho, how is the Military AI related? Because KADS is home of the Cavanaugh museum and also home of CAFs FIFI and 'Ol Diamond Lil as well as being a frequent stop over for just about anything the CAF has. Several AI models have become available for some of these warbirds, notably:
B-17
C-7 Caribou
C-47
F4U
F-86
MIG-21
T-6
P-47
P-51
If there are painters/aspiring painters out there willing to give a shot at getting these flying in the game like they do in real life, I can take a shot at producing other CAF airfields.
Oh, and I can help with some reference material too:
Some CAF birds
Some of Cavanaughs birds
Other T-6s that have stopped by the Cavanaugh
I can always skip down there and get more photos.
Anywho, scenery in progress, AI for it or no.

Been there, both at the museum and on the runway. Most of your AI list is around, and thanks to Owl's new list, I downloaded the EDAviation AI F4U, but have yet to test it. Sorry no help on repaints.

Dustoff, if I remember well that is not a "real" AI Corsair, if you want a good one, download corsair6.zip from Flightsim.
It's an improved version of the default CFS2 Corsair usable also in FS9. It has 9 LODs from 5327 to 0 polygons and some very nice repaints.(at least these:f4u1a_he.zip/f4u1a_kl.zip/f4u1ardd.zip/f4u1astk.zip/f4u1d_13.zip/f4u1d_31.zip/f4u1d_48.zip/f4u1d_51.zip/f4u1d_fr.zip/fg1_222.zip)

Let me take a look at the models and paintkits for some of these aircraft. I've definitely been interested in doing something like this for a while. I've been away from flightsimming for a year or so, so many of these models are all new to me. I don't think I am currently willing to reinvent paintkits for these aircraft, but if what is out there is a good starting point, I'd do some of these. And if you live down near there, that'd make it easier to get good clear photos for reference.
I'll take a look at what is out there currently, and I'll get back to you.

Somehow, when I wasn't looking it went from July to April...
This ones cutting across the fence on short final finally.
I'm using Ray Parker repaints of JAI T6, P51, P47 as well as ACG B17, Spitfire, Sabre, and Tiger Moth as stand-ins for Cavanaugh and CAF aircraft right now. Some really horrible hand coded flight plans for both organizations will be included to get some warbirds in the air.
While creating this scenery, I noted that many of the General Aviation packs available have issues with their radius causing tails and wings to stick through things and oddly sized planes to park in small spaces. I suggest a review of AI GA aircraft to make sure they park in reasonable spots.
Sneak Previews:
North End:
Martinaire ramp on the left. Cavanugh just right of center. Millionair in the top right.
South End:
Fifi lives in the trussed hanger in the lower left. American Flyers flight school in the center. Spotters in the black SUV by the tower
The only static aircraft in there is the MIG-21. Cavanaughs MIG is static too, so it's accurate.
Just working out a few bugs. COMING SOON!

gai_caribou_bp.zip - flightsim.com
acg_ai_pack1_fs9.zip - flightsim.com
acg_ai_pack2_fs9.zip - flightsim.com
acg_ai_pack3_fs9.zip - flightsim.com

jai_c-47.zip - Avsim
The CAV-CAF text file attached below is the airplane and flight plan file information for making the flight plans for stand in warbirds. Separate them into .txt files and combine with your favorite airports file.
Make sure to check that they are all assigned mil_combat or mil_cargo parking types or you will find them in the oddest locations around the airport.
Libraries you will need to this scenery to work:
AG Tree Lib
Atsugi object library
Fence JS
GA Hangers SS v3
JGSE
Large Hanger SS v2
MAIW ABO
MAIW Aircraft Shelter Library
MAIW Cargo
MCDMilitary Library
Parking lots Large SS
HAVE FUN!

Looking good!

.. and being a stickler for detail, I just had to spend a couple of hours trying to track down the registrations for the various CAF/CFM birds
