B-52 Stratofortress

Hello,

Any wan know where i can find a AI B-52 Stratofortress bomber for my FJDG airport?
I was looking on may sites but i can't find any,only the one with cockpit but this is bad for my FPs,i need about 10 bomber on my airport.
It's for FSX but FS2004 is also fine.

Alphasim did G & H AI versions, bit high on the poly count tho'

As there is no good AI B52 I'm using the mike stone aircraft (search: sb52h.zip on
Flightsim.com). It does the job for me and at least I have them in the air flying from
Barksdale, Minot, Diego Garcia and also various stop-off points around the globe.

There is also the FS-KBT version available that may work but I prefer the above model.

One day the clever guys here will bless us with a proper AI B-52 and my botch job
can be consigned to the Recycle Bin.

Since you mentioned FSX, I'm using the very lame AI models included with the Captsim Weapons pack. I have some older FP's for both Minot and Barksdale AFB's made for the Alphasim model. I had to move the smoke and lights posits around and badly need to paint them, but for now I have BUFFs in the sim.

Tanks all for the info.
I have using two different B52 aircrafts,one from Mike Stone and one from someone from Japan.
The two aircrafts are on the parking spots,but when it is time to depart ,poef,they are gone. :roll:
So i am looking for a other B52,in the mean time i using the static B52. :cry:

BTW i use FSX.

Not a FSX expert, but what you describe is that the route from the parking spot to the runway is not there. I would check your afcad to make sure all links are connected.

For me are you a expert :lol: one node was was not connected to the taxiway. :oops:
I have now the Mike Stone B52,taxiing and take off are fine but the plane has some trouble to land,he make big S curves en land not on the runway but in the grass.
Anyway looking for a solution for this.

I used the Team KBT B-52, which even has a kind-of-AI configuration prepared, even if this is not AI in the true sense of world. This behaved pretty good if I remember correctly.

I have had Mike Stone B-52s for a while and it seems like when I would scan through my AI traffic in FSX, I would always find my B-52s flying at high speeds with wings rocking rapidly. Now that I am building a 1980's theme FS9 I recently found a Castle AFB package. The BUFF repaints in the package are for the Team FS KBT B-52.
