http://www.flightradar24.com/
It's been updated and you can now view "real-time" data, as well as cockpit view courtesy of google earth.
I can vouch that it is accurate having just watched Air France 066 (Paris - LAX) travelling over my house and on the radar at the same time.
First time I can confirm that I have seen an Airbus A380!!!

I was watching this morning very early an Air India 787 delivery flight from Charlston AIC170.

Hadn't visited the site for some months Mark, I must say I like the improvements.
Late last night was watching one of the RAF A-330 tankers coming in from the Iceland direction.
I always thought there was a "time lag" but that's not the case. Been watching traffic this AM on radar and out the door - I'm just north of the Findo Gask beacon for NAT Traffic.

There is no time lag over European skies the yellow planes, but the pink aircraft over North America have a 5 minute time lag imposed by the FAA.

Very cool find, might have to buy the app, more info/cool factor than Flightaware.

Further to the Radar site.
You can also "tie-in" most of the radio comms using this site;
http://www.liveatc.net/feedindex.php?type=all
All the more engrossing, watching the radar screen whilst listening to the air-ground transmissions.
