3ds or gmax file to XML,DXF or LWO?

try this, its what I use to convert FSDS to 3ds for gmax. It should convert to the other formats as well.

I saw this one late.I manage to convert via some programs.

Arno's ModelConverterX has come a very long way and is extremely capable by now. The development build is updated twice a week normaly, and the community at FSDeveloper is finding each and every bug and have Arno add more and more features. Also Arno has started to integrated some of his other tools into ModelConverterX. Highly recommened to check it out in case you don't already know it.
