New Package: Top Aces
Posted: 28 Dec 2012, 03:16
Our next package during this holiday season features Top Aces. Top Aces is a civilian company which is the exclusive supplier of combat airborne training services to the Canadian Forces. They provide joint terminal attack controller training to Canadian special operations and ground forces, Red Air and electronic attack training to CF-18 aircrew and navy, as well as live-fire target practice to the Canadian military.

This package by Desmond Burrell features all of the aircraft of the Top Aces organization including the colorful Dornier Alpha Jets, IAI Westwind and Canadair Challenger 601 aircraft models operating from Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake, CFB Baggotville as well as Halifax IAP. The Alpha Jet models are courtesy of Pascal Suls with flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre while Henry Tomkiewicz contributes the Challenger 601 and IAI Westwind models. Aircraft textures are provided by Mark Heimer and Mark Walsh with full custom scenery provided for CFB Cold Lake and CFB Baggotville by John Stinstrom. Additional contributors helped bring this neat little package to life.
Be sure to read the included readme for installation instructions as this package contains updated scenery from previous MAIW packages. We recommend installing our Canadian Hornets package as well to add additional AI traffic to these bases. We hope you enjoy these colorful aggressors from the north country!
