this is still WIP, what i want to know is, does the shade of grey look right most of the standard P-3 seem light grey but "81" RIAT 2008 visitor seems darker ? any help guy's.

Wow they look nice, I really like that special scheme

All the images I can find seem to be slightly darker, especially the special tailed livery.

take no notice of the black nose, its not finished yet, i wanted all your opinion on the base coat. i will now make them a shade darker and without the special markings.

ok i'm happy with this texture now. i have put 2 textures in for "81" so you can have the 2008 special paint or the newer standard grey, i have put a weekly flight plan with this package but feel free to do your own..............

Ray, no one can fault the colours even the ones your original posts .Grey ,especially the CP140 501-109 paint will fade very rapidly to an RGB of 192,208,201( the green is known to quickly fade out giving a blueish grey tint) . If you're lucky enough to witness any current grey fighter "flash" in and out of sunlight against different sky backgrounds you'll swear you've just seen 4 or 5 different colours on the same A/C .
