I may be late to the party but is their a faster way to save files into dxt, extended bmp, or alpha format using programs like dxtbmp and such? It really eats up a lot of time doing each file individually. Is there anything that can speed this process up?

If you useDXTbmp then you could do worse that try out Don Grovestine's util, Texture Manager,
http://stuff4fs.com/newpage.asp?Folder= ... nager.pdf&.
The reason I say that is that he uses Martin Wright's libs that DXTbmp uses.

Is there a way to do multiple files at once is what I'm asking? Say not having to do each aircraft_t.bmp file individually. If not how hard would it be to do coding to make something like this. Would be nice to save 90 files at once instead of one at a time

I used the one that Steve put forward last evening and it faultlessly changed a batch of raw textures to dxt3. It was easy to use, it must be for me, and also gives options for other formats.
Thanks Steve. You have saved me some valuable time.
