Restored WWII Mosquito warplane lands in Pungo

The only flying example of the de Havilland Mosquito will be flying at the Warbirds over the beach event May 17-19 at the Military Aviation Museum in Pungo (Rural Virginia Beach, VA)

It would appear that only the beautiful old retro military birds like this one will be flying at most if not all USA airshows this year. :(

Our Burlington, VT "Wings over Vermont 2013" airshow has been cancelled now that the Thunderbirds and other current military aircraft can't participate. :evil:

I'm already making plans for the May weekend. Can't wait to see the "Skeeter" for real!

It'll be in Hamilton Ontario and Wash. DC in June .Here's a pic of what it looked like in 2004 !!
