FSX AFCAD location

Good Day Gents,

I have been adding MAIW scenery to my FSX. Unlike FS9, the AFCAD files are located in the Addon Scenery/Scenery folder. As I am adding these to FSX, I noticed FSX Addon Scenery folder does not have a scenery folder with the AFCAD files. Where would this be located?

MAIW AFDs are nearly always located in the scenery folder for whatever package you are installing. So for the French Mirage package they are located in "MAIW French Airbase Scenery/Scenery" folder. If you are manually adding them then you should know where you are putting them. The only other place they could be is "Addon Scenery/Scenery" as you said.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's where I thought they would be, however, only those I have added so far which is about 8-10 is in there and a few from FSX install. So is this the folder I would need to go to see if there are duplicate AFCADS's? With all the stock airports installed just with the initial install of FSX, I assumed they would be there. Not all are populated if they are. I know when I use ADE9x and pull up a stock airport to add parking spots, where is it pulling the AFCAD from?

Ahhhh....those stock airports are in bgls in the main scenery folder. You won't find them listed separately, though.
