Wow! Now that photo does bring back a few memories.
The USAF flew 2 of those aircraft types out of the old Ethan Allen AFB here at KBTV before it closed and the VT ANG flew 4 of them after the USAF departed.
The USAF also flew 4 other of those aircraft types out of Plattsburgh AFB just across Lake Champlain from us before it closed.

No, Ethan Allen AFB was the name of the current VT ANG base at Burlington IAP (KBTV) in S. Burlington, Vermont when the USAF owned and operated it. The USAF flew F-86D's and F-102A's from there back in the day.

There is at least another one on somebody's list, and I say a little prayer daily that it stays there
Plus we already have from California Classic Propliners (Tom Gibson) the C-124, the C-133 and - although not in the EC-121 configuration - the C-121. By the way - Tom has offered the source files for these models for enhancements or FSX conversions

Is there an actual AI KC-135A out there? I've been using the HJG A models in a retro set up on my machine. They eat up a lot of frames when they're on the ramp with anything other than a bare base and a Cessna or two. I have also seen some B-52's in the forums. Anyone have a suggestion of which model is the most frame rate friendly? (Mike Stone, KBT, Alphasim)

The closest to the KC-135A, currently, is our new KC-135E. Whether or not we will ever do a KC-135A is uncertain as one is not currently planned.
