A morning at Dryden Research Center. John Young, Kevin Reed and Nick Black have provided these models, and Mark Heimer and Ray Parker had their brushes out. The most convenient way to see the whole set of pictures is to search for NASA in the Quick Search of the Gallery and then click on the triangle (pointing to the right in the upper right corner) to start the slide show.

The whole performance of the web should be considerably better - is that true?

Fantastic mate :D
What process do you use to keep the quality Martin? I save as jpg with full compression and sharpen at 800x640 but I still seem to get it a bit fuzzy....

I just changed the process, Daryl.

The screenshots are done with Fraps as JPG, with a native screen resolution 1600x1200.

Until now I then processed it with a commercial program calle BatchIt Pro, which did the resizing and the addition of the white border all in one go. After I noticed the quality reduction that is most noticeable in the dark shots, I startd to play with several tools and processes until finally have come up with this (free ) solution.

Now I just add the white border with IrfanView, and then upload the 1600x1200 pictures to the gallery. The scaling down process is done by the gallery software und it does a great job.

Thanks Martin, Perhaps my "premature" resizing is the problem. I'll have a play :D
