Middle East Airbases

Based on the positive feedback from Air Nation Guard ADE files, I am starting to work on some of the bases I have visited in the Middle East. Here are the first three

OMAD - Bateen AB
OMDM - Minhad AB
OMSM - Al Safran AB (Not Found in default FS9)

To see the scenery you will need the following

Atsugi Object Library.bgl
Beaufort Object Library.BGL
GGSE.BGL
JGSE.BGL
MAIW_ABO.BGL
maiw_aircraft_shelter_library.bgl
MAIW_Cargo.BGL
MAIW_RAF_Hangers_Library.BGL
MCDMilitaryLibrary.bgl

All three bases were built from the ground up and are compatible with MAIW packages as well as various other U.A.E.A.F. packages/repaints on AVSIM. I know they are no 100% correct, but they look much better than the default scenery at most bases.

Of course feedback is welcome but if for some reason you do not like the, just delete them.

Cheers

Many thanks for these sceneries. However, there is a problem with aircraft not taking off after entering the runways. I have only had time to check OMAD Rnwy 31 and OMDM Rnwy 9 but, presumably, the problem exists on the reciprocal. As for OMSM I have no AI aircraft appearing there so unable to say if the problem also appears at that base. Any chance of a fix please? Many thanks in advance.

Alan,
I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I did not put hold short markers for OMDM :smt021 I will fix this shortly. As for traffic at OMSM, you will not see any unless you add it yourself. OMSM does not exsist in default FS9.

Thanks for identifying this issue for me.

Cheers

OK. I have fixed the issue with OMDM, which was also an issue with OMAD. Attached are the corrected ADE files. I have also included my newest location, OOMS and OOSA free of charge for your trouble

Here are two more, my version of Prince Sultan and Al Udeid. Both are set up to work with MAIW packages and the Al Udeid includes parking for the new RC-135s. Enjoy.

Thanks Scott. Just need to add the "Bra" to make Al Udeid complete :smt003

ETA: for those that haven't been there the "Bra" is a large white tent where folks at Al Udeid can go to relax

lol.... I can still remember the first time I saw it in passing on my home from Iraq. The exact words I muttered can not be repeated here. Someone needs to design it for me :)
