Why do my F-16's shake when they get over 300 kias?

Hey!
I have several F-16's to fly as AI aircraft in my FS9 situation.
1°... They start slightly shaking just before teking off...
2°... then once when they are off grouns, the shaking stops,
3°... They shake strongly once they get to 300 kias, and start shaking enormously when they go further over 300.....
How can I undo that? I tried some different air-files, but this does not help.....
It is horrful to see these aircraft so shaking!

Which F-16 are you using for AI?

Hey!
I use the Belgian Air Force F-16 AI Package by Gregory Loones with models by Henry Tomkiewicz, and also a retro AI package representing the Belgium Air force F-16 Squadrons circa 1990, which uses the F-16 by Henry Tomkiewicz as well...
I have also the Viper, but I don't use it for AI.

There is a simple amendment that you have to make to the aircraft.cfg, ALL of your F16 cfg files.

When I get home I will post it for you.

OK under the [weight_and_balance] section, alter 3 parms to the following settings:-
empty_weight_pitch_MOI=90000
empty_weight_roll_MOI=45000
empty_weight_yaw_MOI=90000

Many thanks Steve!
The problem is solved now, all my F-16 aircraft fly now very normal and don't shake anymore.
My regards.

Hey Steve, thanks for the info. What does "MOI" stand for? :)

Sounds right I guess, but do these new numbers extend the moment arm of the three axes farther into space as a sort of stabilizer? Reason I ask is, I have an a/c that has a bad tail-wag that I can't get rid of.

Basically the idea is that calms down the movement around each access, i.e. effectively a dead zone before any movement takes effect.
Normally when this happens it is because the aircraft is too big/heavy for the specific MOI for the axis. If you read the MS doc on how to calculate the MOI it takes in various parms. Please remember though that these calculations are meant for flyable aircraft an I have found that quite often AI aircraft will work quite fine with parms set at quite a reduced level than the formulae say.

@Jake,
If you want me to take a look pm me with some details and I will see what I can do.
