A two-man air crew was injured in a plane crash at Pensacola Naval Air Station about 10:30 a.m. today, according to Public Affairs Officer Harry White.
Both crew members were extracted from the aircraft and were transported to a hospital, White said.
The U.S. Navy T-45C Goshawk from Training Air Wing 6 crashed at the approach end of the runway. The McDonnell Douglas T-45C Goshawk is the Navy’s advanced training jet.
The two-seat training aircraft, assigned to Training Squadron 86, was conducting a routine training flight, the Navy said.
