modifying scenery

now then

been going through some of my ai and scenery and have found i need more parking spaces is there any way of modifying scenery for more parking spaces and would these be able to be used by already installed packages ect or would this need some more serious mods

if this is possible how eas is it to perform and which program would be best

Yes you can mod the afcad files to increase the amount of parking at a location.
There are generally regarded as being 3 useful tools for this.
1. Afcad - The oldest and the one that really started the whole industry. Freeware
2. AFX - Second kid on the block, newer and more capability that afcad but is payware.
3. ADE - Tool designed to be get the most out of both the FS9 and FSX airfield design capability, therefore the most complicated. Freeware.

Now one other thing we should mention is that if you are amending somebody else's work, for your own use, then you should take note of what they used to make their version.
An AF2 file can be loaded by all proggies without side effects.
An AFX file should not be loaded in afcad as it will lose features, but can be loaded by ADE.
An ADE file should not be loaded and modded in afcad or AFX or you will lose or alter some characteristics.
