After getting Elvis' work I thought I'd better have a go at learning some bits & pieces.
Very rough (my bits, not his) I know, but maybe someday....

Hello Jim, which Phalcon model is that? Is it a "real AI" and is it available?
I'm searching for the Israeli B-707 Phalcon but can't find any, neither in Martin's AI reference list.
Thanks in advance, Giorgio

It's using Elvis' Phalcon model he allowed us to use.
I'm playing about with the IAF version, removing the side radars, but having the problems below.
My knowledge of GMAX and LOD which I believe is the problem is very limited, so I've been using it to try and up my knowledge.
At the moment to no avail.
Any comments gratefully received

Also got a prob with "jaggies", but that can wait for just now.

Thanks Jim, it should be useful for the last part of IAF packages I'm working on.

Looking good Jim. You've progressed further than I did when I tried my hand at the modelling lark...................I couldn't get beyond making wheels that weren't square!!

Here's a link to the Phalcon files. I believe the Chilean one is OK, just can't get the Israeli sorted.
Help yourselves.
Just please adhere to "Elvis'" wishes....
"As a Disclaimer – anything using or based upon the files I have shared MUST remain freeware, some of the models are based upon other peoples work (Dan Bourque for the 707, Lasse Lindh for the S-76, Rob Nieuwenhoven for the Sea king and Squirrel models)

The Chilean looks to be lacking some engine disc fan textures, but otherwise it looks fine*

* "fine" being a very subjective term for an aircraft, that looks like something that's been in a bar fight and lost badly

It does look good. I would imagine that fan disk textures would not be too difficult to overcome.

The USAF, in the past, have one version of this aircraft :
