Library files

As a newcomer to the world of Military scenery, I downloaded RAF Swinderby, having did my basic training there in July 1968 (How time time passes). The link to the various libraries in the read me file to really appreciate the work put into it is no longer working. I have searched Flightsim, Avsim and Simviatian but to no avail. My question is where to obtain the above mentioned libraries? I have installed Airport Design Editor and hopefully re-create some of the aerodromes I am familiar with using the libraries.

Thanking you in advance for any information supplied

The library files are contained in various MAIW packages. A lot of them are common to multiple packages, but some of them are exclusive to a specific package (ie. Atsugi, Beaufort) or specific countries (MAIW_Czech_Objects_Library.bgl amongst others).

Hi,
The links for MAIW packages can be found at http://www.interkultur.de/gossmann/fsx/maiw.php

The packages you will need for Swinderby are as follows, just type in the following words to get the right package:

NAF Atsugi
MCAS Beaufort
Army Air Corps WAH-64 Apache
Hellenic Air Force Phantoms
Czech Air Force JAS-39 Gripens

You will also need the "old" Coningsby package, which is still available at avsim.com, search for "maiw_raf_coningsby.zip".

That should provide you with all the libraries you need.

Hope that helps
