A BIG thank you to Daryl Payne for his uploading of all the files.
Stewart Pearson for his Night Apron Lighting effects and making a Terrain Flatten for those that use the Genesis UK scenery.
Not forgetting John Young for his Apron Lighting Gantries.
Happy flying
Brian

When I was a Kart Racing mechanic a few years ago, we visited here for a couple of championship rounds throughout the seasons, as there's a Kart track on the East side of the airfield now.
Great addition. Thank you

Many thanks for your kind words, Gaz and Ed and especially for the Argosy flight plans Ed.
The Super model of John Young's Argosy fitted in so well with the base as do Daryl Paynes paints of the RAF Early Herc's.
Little Rissington is a little different but at least another for the Retro feel.
Kindest regards
Brian

Brian has kindly supplied a slightly modified scenery so it can be used as it is now by the Air Cadet Vigilants

Is there an AI Gnat, I can't remember. Be nice to add the Red Arrows to this base when they were based there with the Gnat.
This station is a special place for me, it's where I went solo in a Venture as a Cadet. Crappy place to fly from in the winter as it's the UK's highest RAF airfield and almost always lost in the low clouds. The BBQ's the USAF firemen did we're amazing too.

Brian, what scenery are you using in the pics?
I'm using VFR Scenery with British Airports but I'm getting floating buildings, taxiways and aprons even though the runway is at the correct altitude. Also I'm getting raised areas like man made hills on the airfield.
What is the ft asl you used? I'll try to make a flatten area to correct it.
Nothing to do with your scenery as its superb.
Cheers
John

Sorted the elevation problem with VFR Scenery, here are some CFS Bulldogs on the Apron.
