AI aircraft on AI carriers

Hi, I have a question about the military AI. Is here any way you can manipulate the codes in the files to make planes land on aircraft carriers? If so, how? Will MAIW ever make a package like this in the future?

Yes, you can. Have a look to the Rafale package. You have to modify the Flight Dynamic Engine(FDE), it's the combination of aircraft.cfg and the .air files. It is absolutely not easy, search the forum and you can find some discussion around this issue.

There's a fair number of AI carrier packages available now, so yes, it's absolutely doable. Either through manipulating the FDE or by having the model 'pretend' it's doing a STOL take-off. John Young's Harrier is a good example of the latter.

HMS Ark Royal (R09) by Ian Kirby, Philip Chandler, and Fraser Paterson. arkr2.zip and mayport.zip at flightsim.com. I can't remember who, but one of MAIW regulars made some updated AFCADs for it as well.
