HAF F-16 crashes at Albacete - 10 casualties

Looks like the F-16 (twin seater) crashed on the apron while taking off, involving other planes.
From the video shown on the news, a French Alpha Jet looks damaged and the photos show a couple of AMI AMX close to the flames.

According to the press, among the Italians there are 9 injured, two of which are in hospital. Fingers crossed

Five aircrafts on ground (French Mirages and A-Jet, Italian AMX)

and... 8 french died (1 pilot, 1 navigator, 6 mechanics) (confirmed by French Defense Minister)... :-(

According the Parisien article, two Alpha Jets, one M2000D and two AMX's were destroyed or damaged by the F-16 crash. French victims included two pilots, one navigator and 5 ground crew, 7 of the victims coming from BA133/Nancy-Ochey. So sad :cry: My condolences

Tragic loss of lives. Condolences to the family's of all who passed and who were injured. Military aviation is always a dangerous business and we should always keep that in mind. Ron
