Just a quick question. I have the old MAIW for the Canadian C-130's that have the C-130E's and the C-130H's. Now did Canada replace the E's and H's with these new J's? Or did they add the J's to the fleet?
PS: Thank you for this little package.

As far as I can tell, the E's are almost entirely gone (there's a single one left destined for a aviation museum), while the H's are soldiering on in the SAR role.

Hi Guys,
I had meant to give the following info to Ray to go with the package when I did the flightplans but forgot. This was the most up to date info I could find at the time.
The "MAIW Canadian CC-130 Package" from November 2006 covered CC-130E, CC-130H and KCC-130H aircraft at CFB Trenton Ontario, Winnipeg, Manitoba and Greenwood Nova Scotia.
Most of the CC-130E aircraft have been put into storage with no CC-130 aircraft now based at CFB Greenwood.
The following aircraft are believed to still be in service from information found at
http://www.ondutchwings.nl so part of the original package can still be used.
All aircraft are in a Grey colour scheme.
CC-130E 8 Wing 424 TRS Trenton, Ontario.
130307
130319
CC-130H 8 Wing Trenton, Ontario.
130332
130333
130334
130335
130336
130337
CC-130H-30 8 Wing Trenton, Ontario.
130343
130344
KCC-130H 17 Wing 435 TRS Winnipeg, Manitoba.
130338
130339
130340
130341
Note! 130342 written off 21-Feb-2012
Regards,
Stephen Phillips

I have info that there were 5x CC-130Hs converted to tanker capable and were serving with 435 Sqn at Winnepeg, known as KCC-130Hs.
According to Flights last database there 4 left, so if Wikipedia can be believed their strength is 4x KCC-130H and 2x CC-130H, but how accurate that is only somebody with access to scramble will be able to tell us.
Flight says that there are 9x E/Hs left, apart from the KCs. Again I can't verify this. C-130.net isn't much help.

Scramble was my next stop after I installed and noticed the remaining Hercs from the original RCAF package. Much like the MAIW Little Rock AFB pack, all the "E" models should be in the virtual boneyard. Thanks for the "Jays" regardless.

For the old E, you can make FP and put them here :

Updating the info that Steve posted above.
The last two CC-130E have been retired and CC-130H 130333 is now used as a training aid.
So the latest count appears to be 5x CC-130H, 2x CC-130H-30 and 4x KCC-130H plus the CC-130J-30s. I don't know if any are still assigned to 424 and how many are assigned to 426.
