I have Latin VFR San Diego (FS9 version) and I am trying to add parking for the USCG helicopters and I basically have no idea what to do. With the original AFCAD I used to put my aircraft on the spot where I wanted to make a parking spot and hit the "O" key and the spot would be made. How do I do this with ADE? I have the helicopter where I want to the spot but what do I do next? I don't really know how to use ADE because when I do use it I am just fixing up the airline codes and that's it.

Can someone help me with this? If not does anyone have a AFCAD for Latin VFR San Diego (FS( version) with parking for the USCG helicopters?

Also I TINK these helicopters take off and land from the Coast Guard station and do not take off from KSAN's runways. How do I simulate that in the sim?

To place the parking you are going to have to add the parking. Select the icon, top left second row, place the parking over the marker where your aircraft is in ADE. The dropdown menu to the right of it lets you choose the type of parking. You can right-click on the parking and choose edit to change codes and so on. You can also drag the heading instead of entering the value.

To connect to the sim. Top right, select connect, wait a second then click lock. Disconnect before exiting otherwise it does not shut down properly.

To make the helicopters take off you will need to add a new runway. On the position you want it right-click. On the menu select Add. On the dropdown menu select runway. Modify it by right-clicking on it. Link only the helicopter parkings to it.

I would suggest downloading the instruction manual. Keep it open and refer to it as you need to.

Oh ok. I thought it was like the original AFCAD where you can put the plane where you wanted it in the sim hit the "O" key and the parking spot would be added to the AFCAD.
