DCS World 2 Open Alpha and Nevada Test and Training Range

I purchased the DCS Nevada Test and Training Range map for DCS World 2 a while back on a pre-release discount program, downloaded and installed the open alpha version last night and it is nothing short of spectacular as evidenced in the various pre-release videos available of it. However, it is even more spectacular when you are flying over it on your own. It appears unbelievably real. 8) :D

It is by far the most realistic flight simulator scenery I have ever seen and I need to get back and take a few more exploration flights. The only downside for some is it requires a fairly high end PC.

Hi Barry,

I flew around Nellis in the A-10C both at night and during the day today and it was certainly amazing. :D

The DCS servers have been pretty overloaded and some users are experiencing extremely slow downloads. It took me a total of approximately 5 hours to complete the downloads and installation required for the separate DCS World 2, NTTR map and my previously purchased aircraft modules.

I now have 3 separate DCS Worlds, 1.2 with latest upgrade, 1.5.1 Open Beta and 2 Open Alpha.
