Hi all,
All i can say is wow to start with on the excellent material this site has.
I spent a last week at tattershall lakes so have come back and installed the coningsby 2013 pack which is excellent
I have two questions however that i wonder if you could help me with
1) Can i make the ai typhoon and tornado engine noise louder? I have the justflight tornado and typhoon so didnt know is there was any magic that could be done to the ai to make it more menacing
2) in terms of the flightplans added, is there any way of viewing them so i can fly the same sorties?
Thanks for any help in advance,
Regards
Ollie

1) The only way I've ever done it is to go in to the settings/sound then alter the 'Engines' and 'Environment' slider.
2) I use TTools to do all my ai flight plans so I to view them it is easy with that program.

The most useful all around tool that I have found for flightplans is AIFP. One of its features is a timetable which you can also show only one airfield form a traffic file, or one day, or just arrivals or departures or a combination.

I have to agree with Steve (Firebird) that AIFP is the program to use. While TTools version 2.02 was great in it's day uploaded to Avsim on 16th August 2003 that was the last version from Lee Swordy. AIFP is now on version 3 update 22 and covers FS9, FSX, P3d with many features including all sorts of checks on your flightplans to make sure they work properly when you put the bgl in the sim.

I saw a 'Volume Tool' for altering the sound files on Avsim, I was looking for some engine sounds and as I was scrolling through it was amongst them, it might be what you are looking for. (FS9)

Ollie,
One of the few advantages for AI aircraft in FSX/P3D over FS9 is the ability to use custom engine sounds rather than the default AI engine sounds. Therefore you can use the engine sounds from your Just Flight Tornado and Typhoon with the AI Tornado and Typhoon in the MAIW Coningsby 2013 package either by placing them directly in the AI Tornado and Typhoon folders with the appropriate changes made in their aircraft.cfg files or by aliasing to them also with the appropriate changes made to their aircraft.cfg files. A Google search should find several tutorials on how to accomplish this. I use custom engine sounds with all my FSX/P3D Military AI aircraft and it certainly makes a big improvement to the reality of the simulation.

Damn shame that FSHotSeatFX 'died'.
Used to have it a long time ago, gave FS9 proper AI sounds (config per aircraft).
Doesn't work with anything over Windows XP, also no more support, even the website has vanished!
