Ugh... Loadstart.net Malware woes....

Got a particularly sticky one last night, not sure what the actual name of the virus/malware is but it takes over all of your web browsers and makes 'Loadstart.net' your default homepage.
This is going to take all freaking day to clean up....
Anyone else run across this one yet??

Not yet Mike hope you can resolve it. Where did it come from?

What Antivirus/Anti-Malware do you have installed ?
(and was it up-to-date)

I've got Avast, and now Spyware Hunter and Sophos Virus Removal Tool. With those last two, I think I've got it removed.
Avast is pretty much useless although it did flag it as malware when I tried to open my browser. Didn't offer to remove it but at least it recognized it and yes everything is up to date.
I was trying to download a user manual for Instant Scenery 3. I should have known better!

Cheers Mike
I use Avira(Free) and Malwarebytes(Free) and so far (touch wood) have had no problems. Avira has picked up
a couple of problems over the years and dealt with them accordingly. Of course a full back-up can save you from a great
many problems. My PC's do a back-up weekly using the Backup and Restore tool in windows and I carry out a manual back-up
of all my Flightsim stuff monthly to both my NAS box and to a removeable HD. This approach has saved me a couple of times
from HD failures and once many years ago from a virus.

@Barry, yes the manual was a PDF file titled 'readme.pdf' that was part of their documentation. Since I didn't see anything that actually said user manual, I went internet looking unfortunately.
@Pete, thanks I will check those out. Yea since Win10 wrecked this computer I back up weekly. Learned that the hard way.

I use Windows 10 since it haas been offered bij Microsoft for free install, and I use BullGuard since a couple of years. With that combination I have almost no problems anymore, and my FS9 does extremely well. Windows 10 is fully under control now and it works fine!. No troubles anymore with virusses nor with other malware.
