Team, am I the only one having problems getting my posts to 'take' in a normal amount of time??

Seems if I use the quick reply option, it takes up to 20 seconds for the post to actually take and show up in the forums. This has caused me to lose posts multiple times now.

I can browse the forums at a normal speed but posting is at a greatly reduced speed. Been this way for several months now.

Are we under constant spam attacks these day or what??

You are not alone Mike, I get that all the time, sometimes I think it is going to fail, mine takes ages sometimes to go through.

+1 here with Mozilla.

We had this last year as well when posts were taking up to a minute to take from myself, but were fine for others. I can't remember what Greg instigated for the problem to be sorted.

Probably due to the IP checks on posting that are taking too long to connect with the DNS blackhole lists. I have disabled it for now. Let me know if that helps.

I just made a post of 3 paragraphs, again it took a while to go through, I just got the spinning circle then it finally posted.
I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate using Firefox as my browser, been on other forums and posts go a lot faster.
Not nit picking just trying to help.

Edited: Wow, that is strange, when I posted this it went like lightening.

It is quite slow again (30-40 seconds).

From the test I just did mine was fast at about 3-4 seconds.
