JYAI Piaggio P-180 Avanti

My current project is in response to a request from Giorgio for some Piaggio P-180 Avanti's to go in a revamped scenery of Practica Di Mare that he has in mind.
There are several interesting documents and videos about the aircraft on the net and they all make for interesting viewing. The shape of the fuselage is like an aerofoil and helps make the aircraft the fastest turboprop in the world. 15 Air Force examples were needed for Practica Di Mare and here's 12 on my test flightline:

Several other users also have P-180s based at the airfield - Army, Navy, Police, Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza. Others are based at Rome and the Coastguard have one aircraft at Catania-Fontanarossa. I've made all the aircraft and here's one of each on my flightline (there are 35 in the package):

I've produced two military models - one with animated doors and one with doors closed in order to give some variety when parked. For civilian AI re-painters, I have also included a "Generic 1" model and an Avanti Evo with winglets and curved props:

The military models have blue or grey airline seats:

While the Generic 1 and Evo models have the more plush executive seats:

An interesting feature is the retractable housing in the nose that contains the taxi and landing lights:

The FDE for take-off and landing was fairly straight forward, but my thanks to Firebird for helping me get the cruise speed at altitude up to par. Here's the Coastguard example, much lower down in my test circuit:

The FS9 aircraft are all done. While Giorgio works on setting them up at Practica Di Mare, I'll get on with the FSX conversions.
