What Route Would It Take?

As some of you may know I recently did a L1011 Tristar in Orbital ATK livery.
I haven't any idea of where it flies to and from but I did look up it is/was stationed at Vandenberg Airbase (KVBG), also stationed at Gando in Spain (GCLP) a couple of other airfields too but I had no parking at those yet so set an ai flight plan for it to fly from Vandenberg to Gando.

A long journey so I had it stopping at Gander for a refuel, now would you have it fly to somewhere in Florida instead of going north to Gander or may be even Bangor Main which again is north?
What would be a more realistic route or does anybody know of any flight plans this aircraft makes please?

In flightaware are some trips from Vandenburg AFB to Cape Canaveral AFB.
For a flight to GCLP maybe a stop on Lajes AFB in the Azores is realistic.

Thank you buzzbee, I will amend the plans plus take a look in flightware.

If you take a look at the great circle track (Great Circle Mapper is a valuable tool), Gander looks an ideal stopover location.

Hi Jon, yes I looked in FS and I have no parking at Lejas, so I will stick with Gander, I also thought may be a refuel at Shannon.

Col1948, I do the same with Flightaware or Flightradar24, plus google images of the subject aircraft. As a pilot, I try to make the AI fly realistic routes, although in the end the AI pilots don't seem to care nor can you be in all parts of the world in flight sim. I also make sure I don't have civie models at major mil bases.

Check your Lajes scenery, major stopping point and should have plenty of AI parking.
