Hartwig, did you make yourself a paintkit? I tried doing a basic line scheme for each USMC HMH squadron, but could not get the tail code to show correctly on the 53E model.

Yes, I made a paintkit.
It took some time to figure out the texture mapping and there are some restrictions as in some areas the textures get stretched.
I am planning to do some generic grey USMC schemes with the different variants of self defense equipment and different levels of dirt.

Great news then, I just started some FPs and my limited paints to get a few on both coasts flying in the sim until the WIP AI -53 is released. MCAS New River was just too desolate without something flying around.

Israel doesn't operate any CH-53Es or MH-53Es.

Once I have some proper fightplans and AFCAD modifications ready I will upload everything as small separate packages.

There are CH-53E in Israel (two were buy from Austria, and other directly to constructor)

These Heli are operate by Sqn 114 and Sqn 118 at Tel Nov AB, and Unit 669 also at Tel Nov AB.


Iran and Germany have also used the CH-53 (6 for Iran, always in service ??)

These are not CH-53Es but the original CH-53 version that the CH-53E/MH-53E was developed from.
Main differences are two engines versus three on the CH-53E (different fuselage spine), six rotor blades versus seven on the CH-53E, different rotor diameter, canted/angled tail rotor on the CH-53E.
The CH-53Es and MH-53Es are only operated by the USMC and USN at the moment.
The Japanese MH-53E/S-80Ms were retired last month.

For the original R. Kelly model, the 2 engine model "D" was included. I have single paints for the German AF, Israeli AF, and Mex AF, all from Hovercontrol. I was looking for a Iranian Navy paint as well. He made MH-53J Pavelow.

I don't find the Israel and German nor Mex repaints on HovercontroL. I've a CH-53 file only, with one texture.
