C-130 question

There are a few that I can think of but the specific one that I came across yesterday is this:-
The Cannon AFB 73rd SOS C-130s that somebody did before (MC-130W Combat Spears) seem to have all been converted to AC-130W Stinger IIs.
My question is that now that they are gunships do they need the guns painted on, that Graham did for the AC-130Hs or does this version not have them?
Anybody Herk fan, or anybody else, know the answer?

The AC-130W has a single port facing GAU-23 just aft of the crew entry door.

So that would be a yes then. Ta.
I will have to hope that somebody updates the schemes then or leave them as the MC-130Ws.

Hi Steve,
Why not ask Ray Parker if he will update the schemes he often looks for something new to paint.

Its an idea, Steve.
If had an an ounce of intelligence on how to use a graphics program I would try to lift the gun part off of one of Grahams paints and transpose it myself. Then again there may even be a paintkit that Graham did for the Gunships. Who knows.
I admire people that can create wonderful things with these packages.

Yeah, that's the sort of thing. If that is where the gun is, then that is correct.
I happened onto the info a few days ago when looking for something else. I found that all 12 MC-130Ws were converted to the AC-130Ws due to the cancellation of the AC-27J project. They all stayed with the same unit just the designation and name changed.
Oh yes and the damn big gun (acknowledgement to click) and Hellfires apparently.
I also saw a pic of the MC-130J with its winglets. Shame Henry isn't still around.
