NBAI RAFO Typhoon's

Wanted to paint these up for awhile as I work on them

They are based out of Adam air base in Oman (obviously). Currently we are waiting to receive the final 4 air frame (215,216,217 and 218) but I have painted them up anyway. The airbase itself isn't present in FSX (or FS9 i'd have thought) so I've made the AFD to along with them. They have been painted on the NBAI model which is still great although starting to show it's age now I think, still like it though. I just have to make the flight plans for them now and then they will be all your's.

Dale, you are a star...
I've been hoping that someone would notice this gap in Omans inventory.
Many, many thanks
Jim

I have some memories of Oman. We had a detachment there with our F-4s to sell them them the two-seat fighter concept (i.e Tornado ADV). At Thumrait the Hunters were in the GA role whilst the Jaguars were in the AD role.

Please respect Dale's request.
Any FS9 issues are my fault, not Dales...

If you use FSX2FS9 and convert the Vehicle Network to "Path" to keep the roads, it converts quite nicely.

For Omani FPs.....
As far as i know, and I'm quite happy to be corrected, fast jets no longer use OOMS (Seeb International) only the heavies use it now.
Fast jets and visitors use OOMN (A'Musanah) a new airfield built 2005-2012.
OOMN is approx 40miles to the west of OOMS.

You are correct, only the Royal flight remain at ooms although ooms is still used for practice diversions every now and again.

Hi have installed the above in FS9, but the Flt Plan lists "OOAD" as the home base, yet this is not the ADAM base referenced in the discussion above. I have neither of the referenced Bases. Can anyone advise please.
Cheers

As mentioned above Adam AB does not exist in either FS9 or FSX. Dale created one for FSX, and waypoints, and these were contained in his original FSX package.
You then have to do what Jim suggests which is download FSX2FS9 and then load the FSX afcad into it, then set vehicle routes to paths and then hit go and the conversion is done for you.
