prop_anim_ratio= question

In P3D (v4) is the line prop_anim_ratio= needed in the aircraft cfg. I have some AI planes that have this line and others don't. Like the JYAI US Coast Guard model has the line, but JYAI US Army Blackhawk don't the line. Then others like the HTAI King Air 200's some entries don't have the line while other entries do. Not sure if I should delete the line or add it to the aircraft that is missing it.

I'd add it if I were you, if it's not added then the propellers stop spinning at full power which looks a bit silly in my opinion

Luckily I don't have a ton for AI yet to go through to add that line in the cfg file.

I don't think the prop_anim_ratio has any effect in FSX or P3D. I tend not to include it where I remember, but there are some examples from me where the lines were just carried over from the FS9 aircraft.cfg.

Well since I just finished adding the line to the cg entries that didn't have it before I saw this post I will leave the line in. I guess it can't have any negative effect leaving the prop_anim_ratio= line in P3D.
