Beautiful job of the Atlas... Thanks so much for all your work. Did a flight at Brize Norton last night and the RAF A400s looked absolutely stunning as they taxied out to the runway

Hello all,.

I've recently downloaded both the C-130 and A-400 to use in p3d v4.4. The downloads worked great, and I believe I've copied the correct files into the correct folders, but I don't see the aircraft listed when I restart the sim.

I've added many aircraft before, but they've always had some sort of installer. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and was wondering if there was a support thread that could help. I really am excited to climb into these birds.

Melvin, these are AI traffic only aircraft, you will not see them in the (flyable) aircraft selection listing of your sim and you cannot "climb into these birds" to fly them yourself. AI traffic is computer controlled, part of the sim "living world" system. If you have the correct AI traffic flight plans installed, you will encounter the AI aircraft doing their thing at airfields or enroute while you are in a flight.

I have a problem using this package in FSX:SE.
I did some (very basic) repaints for the Belgian 15th Wing, and used them in some home brewed flight plans, and had problems making these repaints to show up.

The only way I could make the repaints work was to use only original Title= statements from the original package, and to modify the other lines to my needs.

For example, the following did work:

Before you ask, there were no errors shown (red lines) in AIFP.

I why I'm not allowed to randomly change the Title= line? Is there some undocumented lock?

there is no reason that this shouldn't work that I can think of.

If you can upload one of your repaints - I can do some tests on my end.

It's not like I'm making my first AI traffic btw.

I just installed your repaints in my FSX-SE install and tested the aircraft visibility with my normal AI test flight

I didn't have any issues using your aircraft.cfg entries (that I copied out of what you pasted in the forum). This is what I used

so I'm not sure what problem you are hitting.

I tried both CT-01 and CT-02

If those entries work on one persons system and not on anothers then it could be that the title or texture line has non-visible characters at the end of those lines. Can happen depending upon your editor or editor settings.

Put you cursor to the end of the each line and see if there is a blank space of the last character. If there is remove it/them and resave the text file. Please take into account that the issue could be in your flightplan txt files so check those as well.

Hi again,

as could be expected, I got my flightplan working.
No idea what went wrong last week, I suspect I was fooled by a too low AI setting in FSX.

Thanks for testing the repaints.
Just in case someone is interested, I added the whole Belgian (and Luxembourgish) A-400M fleet.
Eight (8) aircraft in total! :smt003
