ETUL vs. EDLV

Hey!
Still talking about FS8!!!!!
I wanted to install ETUL but found no good scenery. I found that meantime ETUL has been replaced by EDLV. And I found a good scenery of EDLV, which I can modify and complete up to a good scenery as being ETUL.
However Flightplans that mention ETUL do not meet with EDLV, nor do flightplans mentioning EDLV meet with ETUL.
When I try to install EDLV, the default ETUL will not disappear, at least there is no way known to me for the best way how to use eighter ETUL or EDLV...
I wonder how FS9 pilots have solver this problem?

The Aerosoft payware version has its own exclude included.

The exclude can be made with Afcad or ADE.

Open the default version of the airport. Remove everything. Comms included.

Compile the .bgl.

The remove/delete file must be below the new airport. Place it in Generic scenery folder if you do not have a specific folder like a landclass or such.

I have cleaned up the XML and thus the .bgl to exclude ETUL.

What will I do with flighhtplans where ETUL is mentioned? Shall I modify them from ETUL into EDLV, or is there anotther solution?

Looking at this logically you have removed all reference to Laarbruch so you have to alter them to something it might as well be Weeze.

My solution was to use Stews Laarbruch scenery enhancement from here https://militaryaiworks.com/forums/18/1 ... 18#p166218, as I am in denial about the closure of RAFG  .

Hey!
Indeed, the link does no longer exist.
Is there somebody who still has the scenery and who can offer a copy to me?

AIFP has an option to bulk reroute traffic to another ICAO. You can also configure it to replace one ICAO with another one automatically when compiling flightplans.

Everything's explained in the AIFP manual.

So, I did what you mention, Greg. It is OK now.
Thank you!
