Nvidia drivers

Guys,
I wonder if anybody else has come across this problem and can supply the answer.
I have an Nvidia 6600GT and when I downloaded the latest official Forceware 162 release driver I noticed that the desktop AA setting is ignored. So what I really need to know is whether this is a bug with the release 162 driver or whether AA has to be now set on in FS9?

I have had a look around and can't see any forums on the subject but I might be searching on the wrong wording. At the moment I have gone back to my release 94 driver pending an answer.

Can anybody help?

It's probably not much help, but I had the same problem with those drivers and my 6600GT.
I didn't get a chance to fix it before I got an 8600GT.

 Well thats one way around it. So you are saying that its a problem that occurred with the 6600 but went away with the 8600?

Well it turns out I still had the problem, even with the 8600GT. I'd forgotten to turn off AA in the FS9 options after getting the 86
In an effort to appear less dopey, I managed to track down a fix

Drew, thanks for that, I shall read and digest that.

Thanks to Drew I managed to kept AA working.
Then I noticed that when I had finished faffing around with the amount of useless game profiles, i.e. deleting them, that they didn't show up in the driver profile scheme either and further more FS9 now couldn't be used in full screen mode.

So after carefully exporting my working FS9 profile in nHancer I then deleted the Fs9 profile altogether. The result FS9 works fine with AA and now the full screen mode works.

The upshot of this seems to be, if you are using the latest nvidia drivers and get problems with FS9 simply delete the FS9 profile from within the driver and you can then have it setup as you used to have.

Hope this helps others avoid the same effort that I went through.
