Revisiting RN01 elevation issue

I just found the 15,000-foot monolith for the RN01 turning point east of Las Vegas. This was discussed briefly in the Matrix board (https://militaryaiworks.com/forums/topic/17967#p188703) but it has been archived. Is there a good solution to this problem? Didn't want to just delete the RN01 bgl file since it could break some of the traffic files.

Thanks,
Chris

I can't tell whether there was a fixed version for the Matrix or not.
Not having P3D myself i can't actually investigate the cause or provide a fix.

Just taken a look in P3D myself and think I've made it disappear by editing RN01_AF2_MAIW.bgl with ADE.

Changed the runway surface from concrete to water and selected Transparent just to make sure.

I think it's gone now. At least I can't see it.

That explains why it looked like an airport from the side and on the GPS. I'll try Jim's fix, but what is RN01? Could it be edited/recreated in a different way, or does it show up as an airport because that is the only thing that MAIW aircraft will use as navigation?

Airports are the only things that can be used for navigation in FS9/FSX/P3D Ai flightplans.
