Scenery Conversion Issue

I'm having an issue getting AI aircraft to show-up in P3D4.5 at just one particular airport. I can't figure it out. The airport is RAF Wildenrath (EDUW). I am using RAF Wildenrath V2 for FS9. I've converted the AFCAD to P3D using ADE P4 and kept the original FS9 OBJ BGL in the folder. When viewed in P3D, I have lots of scenery at the airport, but no AI. I also have plenty of AI flying around the area. I have had no issues converting other FS9 AFCADS to P3D4.
I have tried with no success:
a. Checked the P3D converted NMAI F4 to ensure it had atc airline, parking types, and parking codes. These parking codes match the AFCAD. Parking diameter is good too. These F4s show-up correctly at other airports.
b. I created my own flightplans via Flightplans generator in-case it was the original flightplans.
c. I deactivated the stock EDUW BGL in P3D.
d. Decativated the FS9 OBJ BGL.
e. Ensured the flightplan "Airport_" text file Long/Lat/Elevation matched the scenery AFCAD.
f. Ensured I didn't have a duplicate EDUW AFCAD.
g. Removed all add-on scenery/AI flightplans so this was the only airport and aircraft.
h. AIFP3 shows numerous flightplans with EDUW as a destination.
Any suggestions on what I could try? Has anyone experienced this with this scenery or their other conversions? The more I deal with P3D, the more I realize it's very different for FS2004/FSX.
I appreciate any feedback and guidance.
Mike

Mike, I am just a rank amateur with AFCADs, but I haven't run into anything that is different from FSX to P3D. I have converted a couple of FS9 AFCADs to P3D v. 5.4 with good results.
One thing (a shot in the blue): what files do you have in EDUW's scenery folder?

Jorgen,
In the RAF Wildenrath folder, I have a Scenery folder containing the ADE4 converted AFCAD, the FS9 OBJ BGL, and the flatten/exclusion BGL I created with ADE4. Up to this point, converting FS9 AFCADS to P3D has been a piece of cake. I guess I got too comfortable with the process, lol. I suspect, in the end, it'll be something very simple. The AI not showing up at EDUW, but flying in the area, has really stumped me.
Thank you for responding,
Mike

Have you used the ADE fault finder on your airport conversion, Mike?

I did and it noted no issues. I’ll keep trying until I can figure it out. Probably something simple. There’s not that many moving parts. I only have a afcad, OBJ BGL, flattened/exclusion bgl, and a flightplan bgl. Something is keeping the AI away. I even checked to make sure the aircraft assigned to EDUW weren’t being used by other flight plans.
I think I’ll check the flight plans of the other aircraft that are supposed to land at EDUW to make sure they have the correct airport info for EDUW.
Thank you for your help.

Mike I had a similar issue with Wildenrath in FSX. The airport code EDUW has been reallocated to Another airfield, Tutow. This airfield exists in FSX and I suspect in P3D as well I found my AI for Wildenrath went to Tutow. I couldn't find a way to change the code at Tutow, so I ended up changing the code at Wildenrath and in all my flight plans. I don't know if you have the same issue but it could be worth a look.

Thank you Del. I noticed that too in P3D. That was why I deactivated the stock EDUW bgl. I wonder if Tutow still exists in P3D without the stock afcad so my planes are looking for it. That would explain the lack of AI. I’ll change the code for Wildenrath and update the corresponding flight plans with the new code. I’ll let you know the results.
Thank you,
Mike

Thank you Del!!! That fixed my problem. I changed the ICAO code and I now have lots of AI at RAF Wildenrath (ETUW). I appreciate everyone's assistance. I would not have thought to change the ICAO code because of Tutow now uses EDUW. I just deactivated the stock EDUW AFCAD which didn't fix it. One of the things I accidently discovered during this adventure was that the FS9 RAF Wildenrath V2 AFCAD works fine, unconverted, in P3D4.5.

Good to hear that this was sorted out.
Now, Mike - are you going to publish your ETUW?

The process of deactivating and reallocating an ICAO code in P3D is not trivial, especially if the code you want to use is now being used by another active airfield that you may still want to appear in the sim. If ETUW is available for use (and it was Wildenrath's code before it closed, so it is accurate), that's the easiest and best solution!
