Waypoints for flight plans

Gentlemen,

I wasn't sure of where to put this question, but here seemed most appropriate.

I have the feeling that I am missing waypoints for my installed flight plans. At the moment I am chewing my way through the MAIW packs for waypoints, and have also checked at Flightsim and AVSIM for those. But there is no real indication, it seems to me, of what to get, if anything, from Flightsim and AVSIM.

So that leads me to two questions:

1. Is there some kind of central repository for AI flight plan waypoints somewhere, and

2. If a waypoint for an installed flight plan is missing from my installation, what consequences will that have for the flight plan?

Jorgen

Hi Jorgen,

If you don't have Matrix installed, this might help. Hopefully it's ok to attach here, and I've tinkered with them as can be seen.
I have a lot more randomly collected (or reproduced myself) in my Addon Scenery folder, but am less sure of being allowed to upload them all.

Jim,

This looks just like what I needed.

Maybe this is something that should be available for all developers, that's why I posted my question here.

Thanks a lot -

Jorgen

Apparently there are a lot of interesting things in Matrix.
I haven't installed it either. And it's no longer available in the Hangar.
Is it still possible to get it somewhere?
Thanks.

I don't think that the Matrix is available any more.
The reason is that it wasn't a package as such but more of a management system where you used it to download and update your installation as you saw fit. The data was stored on our servers.

One Greg realised it was no longer possible for him to oversee it the project was terminated and the parts removed from the server.

Now I could be wrong but I believe that is the situation. If I am correct then the only way that you could get your hands on it was if somebody had the complete package installed and could zip it all up for you. Even then I am not sure that the front end would work as there is nothing left on the server.

Having said all that, I have been wrong before and there are some clever people out there.
