Chile anyone?

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a default afcad for Arturo Merino Benitez Intl Airport in Santiago (SCEL).

The only one I have is based on the MS original which only had one runway (it now has two!)

A check of various sites shows only afcads for add-on scenery.

Credit will be given if use is made of your work.

It's such a pest doing all this work for just 3 aircraft!!!

Cheers

Hello Javier,

The 3 C-130s used by the Chilean Air Force.

Don't worry about the afcad, I've made a start on creating it, just try to save some time, hoping that someone had already done it.

Cheers

if I'm not wrong (hope not :D ) Chile Operates 4 C-130
2 C-130B
2 C-130H

There used to be a 3rd C-130B, but has been grounded permanently
I'm currently checking the information about the C-130, will let you know as soon as I know

I know what you mean. Doing a bunch of RAF bases for only 2 or 3 Seakings per base :)

I've been downloading a bunch of airport sceneries over the last 6-8 month for South America, especially those that include military association. Guess I had better get them organized and installed, as there may actually be some military traffic visiting at last! Looking forward to it.

Greg,

If you'd like any information about those sites I'd be happy to help. I visit quite a few of them on a regular basis as part of my job, and if I haven't been there my colleagues include a smattering of pilots who've operated out of them, so I can pick their brains for info. I was in the SAR flights at Chivenor last month and Wattisham the month before that plus I go to Valley every 8 weeks to teach mountain flying.

Hi there Javier,

Sadly FACH only have one C130B remaining in operation (serial 998)

Of the remaining three B models, 993 was scrapped in 2004 and both 994 and 997 were seen at SCEL in May 2007, minus wings and tails.

Cheers

Hi Javier,

Thanks for the words of support. Perhaps the 707's will come along, we're doing the C-130's as part of the second segment of the popular Exotic Alberts Package:

Oooh that's right I remember now. We were just finishing up the Australian segment, when they introduced the C-17, so we threw that in as a bonus.

I'm sure the Chilean 707's will come along.

If anybody is interested in producing a package I have paints for 3 different B707 models by Elvis.

Looking down my list of paints I also have B737-300, B737-500, DHC-6, F-16 and Casa CN-235.
