Had this sent to me. It was photographed by someone in the UK forces in Afghanistan and it is flying operationally there at the moment. Like to see a FS version!

Sorry to disappoint John. Those are quite old pics, and not from the 'Stan. I believe it's Czech and taken there.

If memory serves, those photos are from around 2003. I believe it was a Hungarian Air Force MI-24 and never served in combat and carried no weapons... only at air shows and public displays. It seems to have been decommissioned in the last few years and I have never seen any photos to indicate otherwise.

Well just goes to prove you can always believe what you read on the Net or email come to that. Still a nice paint scheme though! I'll pass it on to the person who sent it to me
