Thanks for the tip MACC.
Unfortunately, the repaints were not done by me...lol.

oh, is that a MAIW flanker or one you can get from AvSim?

I would love to say the Flanker is an MAIW creation. Just think of the possibilities.

But it is Bill Wolfgens SU27 Flanker Import package. You can find it at Simviation along with lots of repaints for it.

It is a flyable model. But it works fairly well as AI. Better than most.
And yes, this is the one with the USN repaint.

Have you had a look at Gottfried Razek's lowres photoreal textures for Las Vegas? It incluldes Nellis (altho doesn't match up to my Nellis AFCAD very well), and doesn't seem to lug my system down when flying in the area. Looks pretty good.

As a matter of fact, I just saw that.
I'm going to install it and try to take some inflight pix around Nellis.

One thing - the install instructions direct that the install be done to the main Scenery folder. I did so, and the textures didn't show up, so I went to the scenery addon screen and added it as if it was under the Addon folder and it worked just fine. Seems to me it might aught to be installed there? I'll look forward to the pic's. BTW, you do know that it is only summer day/night only, so you have to select summertime to see it.

PS: While checking this out yesterday, I noticed that I had a bunch of visitors on the ramp from all parts of the world. Good thing I had ample parking, or most wouldn't have been there. It was a real thrill, as I hadn't been there for some time (probably when I was testing the Germans from Holloman), and at that time there was only a couple of visitors, very lonely place back then.
