HOW CREATE FLIGHTPLANS FOR TTOOLS

I have recently started playing around with TTools and decided to try and create my own flightplans etc. The problem is that I do not an idea of what has to go into the flightplans folder. since there are no headings on the top Im not sure what some of the stuff mean. I know aircraft, departure and arrival airports, times etc go in there buth what else. If anyone is willing to assist it will be highly appreciated. Some guys have addapted some of the MAIW flightplans to have planes fly to other airports than indicated and Im too stupid to do even that.

Thanks

You really should take time to read the readme from TTools itself. Lee Swordy did an excellent job of explaining exactly what goes into making up the traffic files. That is how I learnt how to do it.

Agree with Nick, the readme is superb, I still reference it now if I need to clarify something.

I agree with the above.
Plus, there are several freeware programs that will actually write the flightplans for you.

I use AIFP, AIFlightCreator in conjunction with AIFP Utilities.

Thanks for the wise words, "when all else fails, refer to the manual"
Got my SAAF AI Heli traffic going eventually.
