Well, Mehlin Rainer has done it again.
This time is the An225 with the Soviet space shuttle atop it's huge fuselage.
Also at Avsim you'll find an Iraqi/Iranian Air Force Ilyushin/Beriev A-50 Adnan; utilizing the Rulexy AI Il-76 model set from AVSIM.ru (10359_TrafficIl-76.zip).
Looks like we have 2 new toys to play with eh?

Just to let you know that if you are going to use the IL-76 there is a new zip with updated models 10364_model.zip from the same place.

I always have problems downloading from Avsim.Ru.
The search function never works for me either.

What's your problem with that page? Do you get any error messages?
The Rulexy IL-76 can be found here:
http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action= ... 9&hl=il-76
Update here:
http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action= ... &hl=rulexy
Above the file description you will find a field with the download button " Скачать". Fill that field with the numbers/letters (case sensitive) given in the picture above. It may not work on the first try because sometimes the letters are hard to read. Give it a second or even a third try.
Hope this helps.

My trouble is locating the file that I want without having to search through page by page.
Once I find the file I am able to download.
Thanks for the links BTW.

I struggled along using babelfish at first, but it didn't take me long to learn to search once in english, then often you can recognise the name of what you're searching for in russian, and copy that and search again.
After a while I got the alphabet figured out though, and can usually read enough to find what I'm looking for

If you register you don't need to put in those damned illegible codes.

Whenever I use the search function I get an error message. Something about a 'bad request'....??
I think I'll try registering and see if that will sort things out for me.

Let us know if it works. I am very interested in downlaoding it as well.

@Scott.
I used the link provided above. You might have to enter the security code numerous times as it can be a bit difficult to read.
I tried registering but have had no luck.

You are welcome.
If somebody is looking for something specific from that site just let me know. I'll find it for you. But please be patient. I am pretty busy these days and don't log in every day.
