What does 'init' mean?

When I'm loading a flight in the vicinity of Ramstein (ETAR), I often see AI planes being loaded (in Traffic Explorer) for that base with "init" in 'state'column (instead of "sleep","enroute","pattern",etc.).
However, when the flight has finished loading, those planes disappear from the list (and subsequently don't show up in the simulator!)
Does anyone know what causes this? And how I can make those planes to show up?

Regards,

Rick

p.s.: I hope my description was understandable, as English is not my motherlanguage

'init' in this case is short for initialising, and the fact that they don't show up suggests there is something wrong with the aircraft installation. The sim is looking for the correct aircraft and doesn't find it.

Maybe I am wrong but I think I have seen this before. IIRC I had not enough parking spaces for the AI aircrafts. As it was long ago I am not sure about that. It could be that I was loading McCarran while the game was paused. I had no parkings at Nellis but in the Traffic Explorer window popped some F-16's up with status "init" at Nellis. It may be good to check the AFCAD file for proper parkings, too.
