An F-16 surpasses 7000 flying hours

SOUTH BURLINGTON — In the Vermont Air National Guard, they call it the "Lethal Lady."

Through a 25-year career, this F-16 has flown missions in Iraq, chased radar blips and unexpectedly added a section to the book of military tactics during its 7,000 hours in the air.

My ex gf's dad is a Colonel over there so I got the VIP tour of their mx hangar and engine facilities last January 07. Got to climb up to the cockpit of one of those birds and I remember him pointing out one of the aircraft (which I would assume is the one in this article) with some of the highest flying hours in the ANG and AF
