Pärnu EEPU

Hi,
I thought it may interest all the military buffs here. I'm working on a former Soviet AFB located in present day Estonia, just NW of the town of Pärnu (map). For several decades it was operated by 366th Interceptor Aviation Regiment, which flew MiG-23s. Because of its vicinity to Finland (120mi from Helsinki) and Sweden (240mi from Stockholm), it was an important front line AFB. Although the airport was converted to a civil airport (ICAO: EEPU) when the Soviet forces pulled out of Estonia in the mid-90s, many of the old buildings remain.

MiG-23 in one of the hangars at taxiway D. After taking this picture I increased size of the texture sheet so it would look a bit sharper.

I'll post overview shots once I add autogen vegetation and finish main apron area, which is the most modern part of the airport.
