RAF Lossiemouth

Greeting all,
Over the past week I have been trying UK Military Base's for fs9 to FSX,
this has been by enlarge quite successful, with modification of the AF2.
Steve Anderson's UK military airfield RAF Lossiemouth worked with some minor glitches which I'm sure can be addressed when an exclude utility comes out for FSX.
However Steve Anderson's web site seems to of gone and I can't find an fs9 AF2 for Lossiemouth for his scenery.
Also I am aware that this scenery is for FS2002 and is not a fantastic rendition of the base but it is a far cry from the FSX default Lossiemouth.
I am only experimenting, with these scenery's, all the UK MAIW packages have worked a treat, really great job guys, just one little glitch I actually noticed at Lossiemouth was the Tornado GR4's have opaque canopy's.
Cheers,
Dave.

The Tornado issue has been covered at length on these forums. Everything is designed and tested in FS9 but glad you have it working.

Hi Danny,
Thanks for that I must admit the Tornado Gr4 canopy's was an after thought, I will do a search, I could be accused of being lazy
Cheers,
Dave.

Dave, please check your PM's.

The militaryairfields.com website has indeed gone now.
I'm back at my old http://www.rafairfields.com

I'm in the process of building new airfields for all of my scenery's for both FS9 and FSX.

Best regards,
Steve Anderson.

Hey Matt,

The AFCADs designed for the MAIW Tornado GR4 package are only intended for use with the default scenery.

Maybe someone else here can help you with an unofficial version for a particular scenery.

Matt,
The Lago scenery of Lossiemouth which you got with the Lago Tornado is in fact my original FS2002 scenery.
Just Flight approached me and asked if they could use it. I agreed, but then they came back and asked for so many additions that it just crippled the frame rates. They said that it was acceptable.
Unknown to me, they then sold it to Lago.

If you just want a usable afcad file for the airfield, you are welcome to the one which I gave to Dave.
Just go to the Lossie scenery folder and remove the Lossiemouth1.bgl which will remove the airfield grass, runway and taxyways, and you can use the ones in the afcad file.
The frames should now pick up.

Any problems, you can email me.........

Cheers,
Steve.
