Nice, which Harrier (the one you are flying) is that? I ask becuase I have the DSB/Sigma one and Nick initially noticed this, but the bloody thing is about 40% too large in the sim from what it should be. Nick's model is spot on, the DSB/Simga one looks like a "SuperHarrier" version when you compare the two side by side.

Nice scenery btw, looks like photoreal perhaps??

it is photoreal scenery in the last picture...i can't remember where it came from tho but i want to say it is a megascenery package. that is the DSB/Sigma Harrier, here is another shot of them side by side. you are absolutely right about it being bigger! I didn't notice while flying since i kept some distance...wow. I agree nicks is where it should be as well.

Yea, you can barely fit that thing under one of the aircraft shelters.... Kinda makes you wonder how a payware company could mess that up??

It's a SuperHarrier...........

Great shots. I'm using the freeware AP Designs GR.7, matched well with the AI Harriers, but the drop tanks on the GR were off.

The DSB one is really a nice external model and has a nice VC. Also I think they're the only ones who came close to getting an aircraft to have STOVL performance. Shame about the incorrect size though. It's still a blast to fly though.

Are there any good freeware flyable Harrier models out there??

Jump, see my above post. I also have the latest RCBO VSTOL gauges for this model that you can find over at Avsim. With <50% fuel, she will hover pretty good. Fuel burn rates are off, and stay below the mid-20's in flight. The panel is basic but does include a VC. Comes with multiple weapon loads and even the 2 seater. I need to check on the drop tank size, might just be a RAF/RN thing, as with these AI Harriers or any pic of USMC AV-8B's in action, the drops seem almost as long as the jet.

Jumpshot, have you checked on the freeware Alphasim Harrier? Compare this for size. Almost a perfect match. Lewis

For this last shot I decided to land and take one of their toys out for a spin, she handled quite nicely but I must admit I need to practice vertical landings....at least the jet is still flyable though they may need to put in some extra hours in the hangar :D
