I was thinking about that. At least there is an airshow at Pensacola NAS every November. I'm not far from there. Maybe I'll be lucky if I go this year. I hope so.

I just got back from 2 days a NAS Oceana. I spent to much money on Squadron T-shirst but had a great time. Here is the first round of pictures with my cheapo digital camera. I'll have some better ones in a few weeks. We were able to get out to the flight line yestersday (thanks to my ID Card

) and get some picture before the masses showed up at 5 PM. We hung out on the flight line til about 6:30 then headed over to the O'club to look at the Tomcat memorabilia, drink a few beers and hang out with the aircrews. Much fun was had by all
FEDEX 727
CH-46
USMC V-22 from Little River
Very nice F/A-18 Agressor from VFC-12 "Fighting Omars"
MC-130 from 550 SOS
VFA-105 "Gunslinger" Skippers F/A-18E
VFA-37 "Raging Bulls" Skippers F/A-18C
F-104 Starfighter
March ARB KC-135
I'll have some more in a few weeks.
Cheers

Was a great show yesterday. Thought it was going to be a crappy day when I left the house being overcast but it was still a great day as always. would have been better if I remembered to bring an extra battery for my camera.

Hope that everyone that made it down to Hampton Roads area for the show had a good time.

I had a GREAT time there!! I too was able to get on base earlier than everyone else on Friday and I was there all three days. By the way jetmax, that was an HC-130 not an MC-130, I thought it was an MC-130 too until I talked to the pilot lol.
Major Moga and the F-22A demo....disgusting at what that plane can do. Simply amazing....

It's one show I'd dearly love to attend along with EAA Airventure Oshkosh. Maybe one day!
